Successful Completion of Core Courses in the Visual and Performing Arts and in Philosophy (15 hours minimum)
Successful Completion of a Core Examination
Specialization Courses in the Major Area in a program selected from Art ("Critical Studies and Artistic Practice") or Music or Theatre (30 hours minimum)
Fulfillment of FADP residence requirement: satisfactory completion of 18 semester hours of graduate coursework during one 12-month period
Successful Completion of a Qualifying Examination
Successful Completion of a Dissertation and a Dissertation Defense
